FAQ
What makes Vetri Events' planning approach different?
At Vetri Events, we believe luxury is not just about how an event looks, it's about how the entire experience feels. Our approach blends aesthetic design, transparent communication, and detailed production so that every decision feels intentional and every guest experience feels effortless.

We guide our couples through the planning process with clarity, structure, and honest recommendations. From vendor selection and budget guidance to design development and wedding-weekend execution, our goal is to create an event that feels deeply personal, beautifully considered, and seamlessly produced.
What does "luxury wedding planning" mean to Vetri Events?
To us, luxury means an elevated experience supported by thoughtfulness, trust, and attention to detail. It is not about doing more for the sake of more, it's about making the right decisions for your vision, priorities, budget, and guest experience.

We focus on refined design, strong vendor partnerships, organized logistics, and proactive communication. The result is a celebration that feels polished, personal, and effortless.
What is included in your full-service planning and design experience?
Our full-service planning experience is highly personalized and comprehensive. We assist with vendor recommendations and communication, budget management, design direction, timeline creation, guest experience details, rental selections, floral and décor planning, catering and beverage conversations, accommodations, invitations, welcome gifts, rehearsal logistics, and wedding-day production.

Rather than handing you a checklist and expecting you to manage the details, we lead the process with structure and intention. Our role is to keep the planning experience moving, organized, and aligned with the overall vision from beginning to end.
Can you explain your planning process?
Our process begins with understanding your priorities, style, guest count, location, budget, and overall vision. From there, we create a planning roadmap that outlines what needs to happen and when, so the process feels clear rather than chaotic.

Once the foundation is set, we move into vendor curation, budget development, design direction, logistics, and guest experience planning. As the wedding nears, we shift into production mode finalizing timelines, layouts, vendor details, and every behind-the-scenes element needed to execute the weekend seamlessly.
How involved will we be in the planning process?
Your level of involvement can depend on your preferences, schedules, and decision-making style. Some couples want to be closely involved in every detail, while others prefer for us to narrow the options and guide them toward the strongest choices.

Either way, we keep you informed, organized, and confident throughout the process. Our job is to simplify the planning experience, protect your time, and make sure every decision supports the bigger picture.
Do you help with wedding design as well as planning?
Planning and design are deeply connected in our process. We do not see design as just flowers, linens, or paper goods; we see it as the full visual and emotional experience of the wedding.

We help develop the creative direction, color palette, layout, rentals, floral concepts, tabletop details, printed materials, and overall guest flow. Every design choice is made with the venue, season, guest experience, and the couple's personal style in mind.
How do you help couples manage their budget?
We believe transparency is one of the most important parts of a successful planning experience. Early in the process, we help create a realistic budget based on your priorities, guest count, location, and desired level of experience.

Throughout planning, we provide honest guidance around where to invest, where to simplify, and what certain decisions may mean financially. Our goal is not just to track numbers, but to help you make confident, informed decisions without surprises.
Can you help us find the right venue?
Absolutely. Venue selection is one of the most important early decisions, and we can help you evaluate options based on guest count, aesthetic, logistics, budget, and the overall experience you want to create.

For couples unfamiliar with Charleston, Nashville, or another destination, we can narrow the search, coordinate site visits, ask the right logistical questions, and help you understand what each venue would require from a planning and production standpoint.
Do you work with couples who are planning from out of town?
Many of our couples are planning from another city, state, or country. Our process is designed to support clients who may not be local, with virtual meetings, email communication, visual design presentations, and organized planning documents.

While we always love in-person time when schedules allow, we can handle much of the planning process remotely and help make any planning trips as efficient and productive as possible.
How often do we need to travel for planning meetings?
It depends on your schedule and the needs of your event. Some couples come into town several times for venue visits, tastings, and design meetings, while others may only visit once before the wedding weekend.

We will help identify which meetings are most valuable to attend in person and which can be handled virtually. Our goal is to make the process feel manageable, especially for couples planning from afar.
How far in advance should we book Vetri Events?
We typically recommend booking 10 to 16 months in advance, especially for full-service planning and design. This allows enough time to secure the right creative partners, build a thoughtful design plan, and make decisions without feeling rushed.

That said, every wedding is different. If your date is sooner, we are happy to talk through what is possible based on our availability and the scope of the event.
Do you only plan events in Charleston and Nashville?
While Vetri Events is based in Charleston and has a second location in Nashville, we plan weddings and events in a variety of destinations. We love working in places that inspire the overall guest experience, whether that is a coastal weekend, a mountain celebration, a private estate, or a destination meaningful to the couple.

Our team has experience traveling for events and can guide the planning process wherever your celebration takes us.
Do you plan full wedding weekends?
Many of our couples want the wedding to feel like a complete weekend experience, and we love helping shape that from start to finish.

We can assist with rehearsal dinners, welcome parties, wedding-day celebrations, farewell brunches, guest gifting, transportation, accommodations, and the overall flow of the weekend. This allows every event to feel connected while still having its own distinct atmosphere.
Will your team be on-site during the wedding weekend?
Yes. Our team is present on-site to oversee production, manage vendor arrivals, guide the timeline, troubleshoot behind the scenes, and ensure the event unfolds as planned.

Our goal is for you, your families, and your guests to feel fully present while we manage the details, logistics, and moving pieces.
How many weddings do you take in one weekend?
We take on only one wedding per weekend. This allows our team to focus entirely on your celebration and remain available for the level of detail, communication, and presence that our events require.
Do you work with a preferred vendor list?
We do not work from a standard preferred vendor list, because we don't believe every wedding should be built from the same group of creative partners.

Instead, we use a thoughtful vendor vetting process and tailor each recommendation to the couple, the location, the budget, the design direction, and the overall guest experience. While we have trusted relationships with many talented vendors, our recommendations are never one-size-fits-all.
How do you approach wedding design?
Our design process begins with questions — lots of them. Before we discuss colors, flowers, linens, or rentals, we need to understand who you are, how you live, what you love, and how you want your wedding to feel.

We ask about your personal style, favorite places, family traditions, meaningful details, hosting preferences, and the overall experience you want your guests to have. From there, we translate those details into a design direction that feels personal, intentional, and cohesive.
What types of clients are the best fit for Vetri Events?
Our ideal client values trust, transparency, thoughtful design, and a highly guided planning experience.

They care deeply about how their wedding looks and feels, but they also prioritize the guest experience, the weekend's flow, and the behind-the-scenes details. They want a celebration that is elevated and personal, not overly trendy or impersonal.

Vetri Events is the best fit for couples who want to be involved in the meaningful decisions, but who also trust a professional team to lead the process, curate the right vendors, manage the details, and provide honest guidance along the way.

Our clients typically appreciate design, organization, strong communication, and intentional hospitality. They are looking for a planning partner who will protect their vision, respect their priorities, and create a wedding weekend that feels seamless, personal, and beautifully considered.
